3)shortage of food grains because of increase in the population , food scarcity is faced.

5) The level of savings and investment goes down .
6) The use of energy increses,more electricity is needed and therefore need for power increases.
7) Increases in population also gives rise to the problem of housing and education .
More agricultural land is diverted for housing and therefore availability of land for agriculture is adversely affected.
